Spending the day at the hair salon, involves pain staking hours of washes and shampoos, dyes and blow dries. But, today my experience went by rather fast and I came out a happy client as usual. During the entire process, I had the chance to catch up on some reading, of course with the old magazines hair salons stash on their coffee tables. i came across a clin doeuil article, which showcased black chunk jewlery and accesories and showcasing black as being a bold colour statement - especialy on lips!
Yves Saint Laurent came out with a pure black high in shine gloss. It looks kinda of freaky and a little unusual, but i am not going to lie, i kinda like it. its bold, its strong, its unique. i might not ever wear it, but as for a fashion show, i can see it being quite useful. According to the article, in sun light, it gives more of a purple effect, stating its just as wearable during the day than at night!
Anyways, it came out in fall 2008, but as i came across the article i found it kind of neat, since the colour black, a universal color, has been put on the map in a new and unique way. Instead of classic dark red lips, how about pulling a different kind of sexy and add a little black to your lips. i dont suggest you kiss anyone tho!
